Job Description:
We are currently looking for a highly skilled Media Buying Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective media buying strategies to optimize our advertising campaigns. This role requires a creative thinker with a keen understanding of media channels, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving campaign goals and objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify target audiences and strategize media campaigns.
- Evaluate and negotiate rates, ad space, and airtime.
- Optimize plans and budgets based on the most effective media mix
- Develop schedules and make adjustments as necessary
- Explore and experiment with new platforms and channels
- Ensure creative and appropriate display of advertisements
- Monitor costs and assess return on investment (ROI)
- Provide regular reports to clients and cultivate long-term relationships
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
- experience as a Media Buyer or in a related role, with a preference for digital media experience
- Familiarity with media buying, planning, and research
- Keen interest in staying updated on advertising and media trends
- Proficiency in using media analytics software (e.g., comScore)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Creative thinking skills for strategic decision-making
